INTRODUCTION AND BACKGROUND

JB Attorneys, Notaries and Conveyancers was founded in April 2011 by Janine Viljoen (Formely Booysen). Janine was admitted as an Attorney in June 2004 and was admitted as Conveyancer and Notary in January 2005. Charlene Barker, admitted as an Attorney in May 2000 and as Conveyancer in January 2003, joined the firm in March 2012.

Our firm’s mission is to provide high quality legal services with integrity, professionalism and respect for our clients, and our principal goal is to serve our clients effectively.

PROFESSIONAL BODY

We are proud members of the Law Society of The Northern Provinces and have a valid Fidelity Fund Certificate as is required by the Law Society and the Law Society of South Africa.

LIABILITY INSURANCE

As members of the Law Society of The Northern Provinces, we are covered by the Attorneys Indemnity Fund Insurance. We will maintain professional liability insurance as required by our clients and the amount of cover may be increased to meet the requirements of the respective clients.

FICA COMPLIANCE AND BEE COMPLIANCE

We are fully FICA compliant as required by the Law Society of South Africa and our firm is BEE compliant, the certificate is available on request.
